The sun was shining on L’Amandier this month as various visitors passed through to inspect progress and there was even a memorable tagine picnic on site. Imagine – picnics in the sunshine in t-shirts in November. It makes those of us based in the UK appreciate the beauty of the winter sun and warmth of the Moroccan climate.

We had a fabulous response to our last newsletter, so thank you to all those who took the time out to catch up with our latest news.

As a result, October proved to be a busy month for us on many different levels. Construction work on site continues on schedule and we have, to date, six site visits lined up for clients interested in our remaining villas at L’Amandier. They will be visiting to view the completed villas, get a feel for the stunning location and experience the wonderfully warm local hospitality.

They are right to take the opportunity as interest levels are currently high and we have only four remaining villas available for purchase. If you are interested in further information, or would like to be kept up to date with all the news and progress at L’Amandier via our newsletter, please contact us at: enquiries@mhkinternational.com.

We have recently been approached by leading hotel management company ICMI (www.icmi.co.uk) who are looking to include L’Amandier in their portfolio; taking on the management and rental of the villas and boutique hotel with a view to turning it into one of Morocco’s most prestigious retreats. This would position L’Amandier alongside inspirational properties such as Inverlochy Castle Hotel and Blanefield House in Scotland, Albergo Villa Casanova in Tuscany and Villa Giuseppina on Lake Como, Italy.

Highly regarded for their professional management services within small, luxury villa resorts and hotels, ICMI would no doubt add to the creation of an unrivalled boutique resort in this region of Morocco. We are currently assessing them against other leading operators and are in discussions to evaluate the viability of a joint partnership. We will keep you posted…
